We all get lost in constant battles with antagonist patterns
and feel we ain't got a map to help us navigate that

And that is tragic, and I don't wanna have to scatter no more ashes
of mates that lost their way to madness
I just wish that you'd find happiness
I just wish that you'd find peace

And I pray that we could find the space to contemplate
Our crazy pace it just aggravates our greatest pains
If we can not find the space to face our problems
then they constantly evolve until they're monsters in the closet

And I want to face our demons, I can hear the silent screams
And I know that it is frightening and easier to be hiding
But please believe me, we will never find no synergy
by hiding and denying all these aspects of our life

Cause it gets brighter in time
The monsters in the closet often disappear and turn to lessons that just make us stronger
We just gotta look them dead in the face and say I'm ready to embrace every possible state

And I know that it is easy to say
But to put it into practice that takes space to cultivate
So I dedicate this man called Dharma Dan and with everything I am

Your obstacle to conquer is this feeling that their process could have gone in an opposite direction if you were stronger in your interventions

You didn't take their lives, they took their lives themselves
couldn't have stopped it, you did your best to help
don't let your grieving be the reason you ain't present for the next friend that's stressing and feels that they might need you.

Forget perfection, just give your offering
This concoction of songs that's not for profit
Know it's a blessing
the pain of loss nearly made you burn the pages for fear you'd never save nobody

You don't need to be a saviour, you don't need to be the greatest
you don't need to radiate a state of grace at all occasions
You don't need to hold the pain of everybody else's problems while bottling what's really going on

now you can put it in a song but can you bring it to your consciousness at times you're feeling lost
instead of finding your way to a dating app and hiding all your sadness in tryna find some action

It's like elastic, keep coming back these sad and hapless patterns
no matter the understanding expanding in the practice in praxis I fall back

And feeling lonely. And that's the bones and at the heart of all this martyrdom
and maybe I'm just asking to finally find a place where I feel I'm really part of something
Another plunket kid abandoned from the start

But I can see that there's a Boddhisattva starting to grasp these scattered parts and just offer them as a mandala
And all I ask is the path that I am taking could maybe find a way to help another in their hardships.
